Live Steam train rides in the San Diego? Please help me locate a 5 year son to me.?

My 5 year old daughter is crazy trains, steam trains in particular. There will be 6 next week and am trying to find the location and price of steam train rides in our region? My husband is disabled and living on very fixed income. The RR ground local steam powered only offers rides on special occasions and for special events and tickets are well beyond our means. I know there must be other public or private groups that offer rides steam to the public during the summer, but I do not find in San Diego Region. Can anyone tell me where I can find these places and, if possible amount they charge for tickets.
